So in short, I haven't had issues getting my Dreamcast's DCDIGITAL up and connected, and in fact just did a firmware update with it a bit ago just to make sure I'm not crazy. It went just fine.
With the PSDIGITAL, I can't seem to get it to connect to my network using the exact same credentials used with the DCDIGITAL, which again, I just connected the DC to, and did a firmware update just for a sanity check. No issues there
When I connect to the PSDIGITAL's access point from my computer, and go into the firmware's terminal via browser, it connects, but it doesn't seem to want to do anything on the "check" or "download" fronts. It returns an error "Error reading original checksum".
When I also enter my network info into the PSDIGITAL's OSD on my PSX, it doesn't seem to establish a connection even after a restart of the whole unit.
When I go to Firmware in the PSDIGITAL OSD- it claims to not have a network connection.
But again- on my DCDIGITAL, with the same network SSID I've put in there, it works just fine.
Wanted to see if I'm missing something stupid or simple.
I have attached some shots of both DC and PS OSD's to see if maybe anyone can spot the differences or what I'm missing.
For clarification- the network I'm connecting it to is an unprotected 2.4ghz connection that doesn't require a password; I use it mostly for legacy hardware such as this, and just turn it back off when I'm done. The DCDIGITAL took the same network with no password/empty password field, and went fine just earlier this evening.
