WiiDual Removed C43 Capacitor Under Flex Cable

I'm a dummy and somehow just ignored the all caps text in the WiiDual install video, and I just finished up all the soldering but now realize I didn't need to remove the capacitor under the flex cable. Trying to figure out what to do by reading through all the comments and such, I see one of Dan's replies mention that things will work fine without the capacitor on the flex cable when there used to be one on the flex cable. Is this the same if I de-soldered the cap on the board and just leave it unpopulated? I can only find a few of the SMD components I removed and I'm not sure which one is the capacitor that goes to C43. Is it alright to leave it off or should so go ahead and get a replacement. From the other comments I see that it is a 0402 .1u 50v cap, correct?

Aside from this oversight on my part, everything on this install went great. Testing through HDMI, everything seems to be working great. I just want to know if I need to replace that cap before I button everything up.

If you leave the cap out the console will operate fine. However its never a bad thing to replace it either. Its .1u 50v like you said.

Alright, I got the cap replaced and I'm all done with the mod. This thing is great! Thanks Dan for all the amazing work you do!
