Wii Dual - Component Video problems

I installed my Wii Dual. HDMI is working for me, but component video is not working. I get an image that looks like this (also contains some images of my installation):

Sync seems off. I've been poking around with my multi-meter looking for a bridge or a place I didn't make a connection I should have, but I haven't found one, yet.

It's also possible I didn't understand the instructions for routing sync. I removed the only the yellow components from step 3 in the installation instructions (http://dansprojects.com/wiidual_install.html), and I did not short any of the 1, 2, 3 pads. I mostly care about HDMI and component, but I'd prefer to leave the door open to using composite or RGB with sync on data pin 15 in the future.

Any ideas on where I should focus looking for problems?

One last question. The instructions mentioned accessing the OSD with a universal remote. How does that actually work? What do I press on the remote?

Thanks, I appreciate any help.

Some more info. I tried connecting with component to my HDTV and it worked correctly. However, I've tried on 2 SD TVs with component inputs and I get a picture like the one in the video in my first post. The WII was working on component on the same TVs prior to installing the mod. Is there something in the GC Video settings I need to tweak?

I did figure out how to access the OSD with a universal remote by looking through some posts about GC Video.

The Wii is set to 480i in the Wii settings menus.

I also tried composite video and that is working too.

So, it's just the component on my SD TVs that isn't working.

The sync regeneration setting didn't help. I did go through and start toggling all of the settings in the OSD. I had line doubler set to true. When I turned that off it started working correctly.

Thanks for your help!
