Ribbon Cable Missing D1

I have been having issues with Force VGA mode producing a double image. Other posts I found said to check pin 6 and 7 since they simulate plugging in a vga connector. Both of those pins are soldered correctly but I noticed D1 is missing. Is this why Force VGA mode is not working and if so, what can i do to fix this? I'd be fine buying the diode or doing some other quick fix Thank you

Edit. I found the BOM for the ribbon cable and bought the diode from digikey. I'll install it and see if that fixes my problem

I reflowed the board multiple times and tested continuity to the av output. I saw someone else had this issue due to D1 having a poor joint, so since I am completely missing D1 I think that is my problem. I am receiving the diode tomorrow. I will post pictures if installing it does not fix my problem.
