Dear Support,
I attempted to update PS1Digital firmware via wifi. When it came to the flashing part, I kept getting Checksum errors on the 2nd file. I then attempted the download/install again and got the same checksum errors on the 2nd file. I restarted the ps1 and didnt get any audio or video via hdmi. I then followed the guide to get into the CLI via web browser (using the wifi method whereby holding L2 + start + square + triangle + X + O , connect to the ps1digital network then run the ip address in a browser and got access to hdmi tools.
I then proceeded with the check command, and followed through with the same install and got the the same checksum errors. I then ran the cleanup, then ran the commands to update the firmware and got the same checksum errors. I then restarted the ps1. Still, no video or audio, and now when holding L2 + start + square + triangle + X + O, I can' t get access to the ps1digital network. Can someone please point me to user friendly documentation that I can use to reset the ps1digital to stock?
At minute my PS1 is a paperweight - I can't do anything with it as I don't own a TV with composite inputs.
@chriz2600, I contacted the original modder (https://willsconsolemodifications.co.uk/) and he said its ok if I contact you directly?
Thanks
