I've done 8-or-so PS1Digital installs now and several dozen DCDigital + WiiDual installs (and plenty more to come).
The most recent PS1Digital install seems to have a bad PS1Digital board. The colors on the screen are pale and washed-out. The strange color issue follows his PS1Digital board when I swap to my own system, and my own PS1Digital board works fine in his system. The client is in USA but he said this kit was sourced from 8BitMods. Before installing the kit I noticed there was an "X" drawn on the serial port flex, but I checked the connections with a meter and it's fine. All the bags were sealed when I received the kit.
I was hoping to ship his Playstation and Dreamcast consoles together. Maybe I can send them back to him with my own PS1Digital board if it's possible to have his bad PS1Digital replaced. I would ask the owner of this PS1Digital kit to contact 8BitMods, but returning that way would involve international shipping and maybe it's just too indirect.

Also determined that flexing the board a bit makes the picture clear up momentarily.
Contacted Dan via the web form and we are going to swap/replace this one.
