I'm having trouble with one of the DCDigital kits I installed. Installation went fine. Booted right up first time. Ran the test with all hearts. Updated the firmware successfully and reassembled the dreamcast. The unit worked for 3 or 4 days and then quit. I checked all solder joints under microscope and ran continuity tests and found no issues. Composite video still woks. Today I swapped out the DCDigital board with another one I have and it works fine. I'm not sure what's going on. Could it be a bad HDMI port (The hole I cut and filed fits snug with no play) or maybe there's a short somewhere I'm missing that damaged the board over time ? Not sure if that is possible. Any help would be appreciated.
