Cannot reset through OSD

Hello. I am unable to reset the console through the OSD. The PS1Digital will reset, but not the console which ends up freezing it. Everything else works: digital, analog and I have all the hearts.

I am using the PS1 PicoPSU sold by Will's Console Modifications. I do not have the original power supply. Thanks in advance.

Recheck the RST point on the audio flex. This is where it pulls the RST line low to initiate a reset. It could be related to to the PICO but not sure how that would interfer.

Sorry it took so long to follow up. I was waiting on the XStation (haven't installed yet) before opening the PS back up. I checked RST point on the audio flex and I had continuity from the audio IC pin 5 through the flex cable. Still no reset through the OSD.

I then accessed the web console, ran "check" and got "Error reading original checksum", ran download and got "Error reading original checksum" and then I ran reset and now the PS1 digital will only flash continuously with the OSD reading "FPGA firmware was flashed by SPI check."

You will need to update the firmware, as there was a previous bug for reseting the console.
Run the command "cleanup" in the web console and try to do a check/download again.

Make sure you are close to your router to avoid any connection problems.

Thanks for the response.
I can no longer access the web console because I don't have access to the OSD to view the passwords to connect to PS1Digital and then to login to it.

When I power on the console, the screen just flashes constantly. The image has the OSD with "FPGA firmware was flashed by SPI check" and I am unable to navigate the OSD or do anything.

I've experienced the same after installing 'Will's Game Console Modding PS1PicoPSU V2' (https://www.willsconsolemodifications.co.uk/ps1_pico_psu.php), PU-18 board.
Firmware on PS1Digital: 1.4.1
The PS1Digital seems to reset (screen goes blank for a short moment) but the PS1 itself doesn't. There are some corrupted graphics on screen after a failed reset as well.
Everythings working as expected using the stock PSU.
Probably the fault of the PicoPSU for behaving differently on reset, but maybe it's fixable with a PS1Digital firmware update.

I did end up getting mine working with Will's PS1Pico, same one you linked to. Sorry I don't have anything to suggest for you to try though. I checked every connection, sent board to Dan for firmware update and never got it to work on my first PU-18 board. It was the exact same symptoms you're describing. Ending up removing everything, installing in a new PU-18 with the same PICOPSU and worked perfectly. The audio flex is extremely weak. Both audio flex cables I received had a trace break somewhere in the bend and had to jump them.

If everything works for you, LEAVE it alone. Haha.
