Great job. How did you get the fuses so quickly?

Connected Psnee wires and PS1D no longer outputs video

I'm a novice as well and I appreciate the help. That being said I made a small jumper for 5v and it fixed the issue. The PS1D came right up with no issues. I updated the firmware. I then decided to resolder the PSNEE wires and try again. This time everything booted up but I keep getting an...

Connected Psnee wires and PS1D no longer outputs video

I think we are straying away from an issue here. 5v has a problem. It may be why I'm not getting the test screen. 3.3v is fine.

Connected Psnee wires and PS1D no longer outputs video

Okay so finally getting back to this. I have no bridges or shorts on the audio flex. I measured voltage at the 5v point the audio flex uses on the PS1 motherboard and I get 4.9v. I tested 5v behind the audio flex connector on the PS1 Digital and I get between 2v and 2.5v... Also I am not able...

Connected Psnee wires and PS1D no longer outputs video

My PS1D is no longer outputting video after connecting the psnee wires. Analog Video/audio works perfectly. I'm just getting a pulsing light on the PS1D. I also tried disconnecting the wires and I get the same behavior

File for 3D printed HDMI cover

Dan, Do you mind sharing the file for the 3D printed HDMI port cover? I have a translucent blue Ps1 and would like to print a matching one.

    Heart signals and pinout

Dan you are the man!! I'm finally getting crispy pixels! All hearts! I ended up desoldering the entire flex with hot air and resoldering it back down. With very careful drag soldering I got it back down! Thank you for your time and effort. I learned a ton and feel like I'm a better modder now.

    Heart signals and pinout

I've tried to pull out solder but I just can't see where the bridge is. Is it possibly underneath the flex?

    Heart signals and pinout

    Definitely different. GND to G3/G4/G5 3.3v to G3 and G5 3.3v to G4

    Heart signals and pinout

So between all of these points I got around the same value most of the time. That's for both GND and 3.3v to G3/G4/G5. Rarely I would get another negative value though.

    Heart signals and pinout

Between G3/G4/G5 on the PS1D removed Between 3.3v and GND on the PS1D removed. Between 3.3v and GND on the GPU without PS1D

    Heart signals and pinout

I checked the points on the PS1D with it removed. G3/G4/G5 have no continuity between each other. 3.3v and GND do not as well. The PS1 motherboard does have continuity between 3.3v and GND but I'm assuming that's because of the resistor on the flex?

    Heart signals and pinout

The green issue went away some time back. These recent tests are without it. I can press all the way down with no change in video. Now before when I pressed down I would see a change. I actually had it perfect in terms of that color banding issue. I would see it switch back and forth. In terms...

    Heart signals and pinout

Okay so the analog output has the exact same look. And I also found the PS1 doesn't boot properly without the gpu flex connected.... This is analog.

It's honestly extremely hard to tell there is a color issue nowBefore I noticed a green hue. The way I can tell is the extreme color banding in the ps1 menu using hdmi.

No sign of life from PS1Digitral board

Keep in mind that link is for the 50v specifically. If you need another fuse then change the model number. For 50 it's CCP2E50TE. For 20 it's CCP2E20TE. Etc.

It's G3 - G5 that isn't lighting up. Also I randomly found an ea sports game.

I just checked and they aren't shorted together. Under magnification I don't see any issues.
