Let this be a lesson: I broke the number 1 rule, stop-think logically-Be patient and troubleshoot when encountering issues. Regretfully I pulled pins removing the cable when trying to re-set the cable. I have a spare dreamcast that I am going to send to Dragons Hoard to do this mod.
